I use a custom preview form to display my report. This report was designed to be displayed in landscape orientation. However, if no printer is installed on a client's machine(if he uses a laptop for example), the report still displays, but in portrait. I've tried many different ways to set the page orientation to lansdcape, from TQReport.Page.Orientation to the TQRPreview.QRPrinter.Orientation, to no avail. When no default printer is installed, the TQRPreview.QRPrinter.Orientation's default value is poPortrait, but changing it to poLandscape has no effect. Has anyone achieved setting this property without a default printer? Thanks in advance. Joe. Seems to work. But I was actually looking for a solution inside my application. I didn't wanna depend on a user knowing he can install a default printer without actually having one installed. Historically QR hasn't worked at all without a default printer installed. So I haven't tried it without for a long time.
