|
|
This is a bit of a cross post, but, not having gotten response from my other
post, and having more info, I thought this was a better spot to post.
My app, on some computers, is getting "Range Check Error" when showing a
form that has a jpg on it. We're using D6 and the jpeg.pas unit with
"Copyright (c) 1997" in the header.
The error occurs when we do the ShowModal. So far, we've seen it on a
Citrix Server Metaframe machine, and on an Intel Pentium II running XP Pro
SP1.
We don't get the error on most machines though.
Anyone heard of this before???

Just to clarify my previous post, the jpeg.pas we're using is from the
Borland Run Time Library.

The problem was fixed (or just hidden?!) by deleting the 1997 JPEG.PAS.
Assume that a more recent & bugfree version of JPEG.DCU is embedded in the
D6 RTL.
