Hello everyone,

I've been having the hardest time trying to get an applet running from an
html file. I'm using JBuilder9 / internet explorer / windows xp.
When I run the applet using "run "projectname" using defaults" the applet
runs fine. But I can't get it to load in a browser. And when I set the
project up to read it from an html file it gives me the same error
"ClassNotFoundException" (and associated). I've looked around the past
couple days and I haven't found anything that helped me.

I have a feeling that I'm just (not) doing something very simple, but I
can't figure out what it is for the life of me.

Thanks so much,

Ben Hersey

Are you sure you are using the same JVM Plug-in in your browser as you are

for the applet? If you are using a pre 1.4.x Plug-in this may very well be
your problem.

If you are using any packages/classes outside of the JVM, did you create a
jar file with all dependencies included in the jar build? If not, that
could be your culrpit.
