I don't see any posts to this group but I see them in others.
What's up?
Probably the numbering of the restored messages and the messages oyu
already have is not in the proper order. The resotred messages have
different message nubmers as the originals had,. so it may be that your
newsreader is waiting for a high nubmer, and the newest messages have a
much lower number. The best thing is to reset your newsgroup entirely,
and then reload the last 500 or so messages again.

YEs, that was it, I unsubbed and resubed and everything is coming
over now but there are some very old messages still in the queue.
However access is very slow. Guess that SWEN is the culprit, huh?

This has been mentioned a couple of times now -- now why didn't I have to
do this? I can see all the messages here fine (at least I think so, I see
all the "wow -- newsgroups are back" posts).
Anyone know if leafnode (the nntp proxy I'm running) copes with this
automatically?

Could be that leafnode renumbers them on entry? I know that e.g. the
t-online server has different numbers for the same messages as well.

Possible, but shouldn't leafnode then be upset about "upstream" (borland)
numbering? Your message has number 52463 for me (locally). If the web
interfaces @ newsgroups.borland.com has article numbers, then yours has
372143 there, which is different from what I see. So something is
renumbering.
In any case, I'm happy =)

Don't know about 'leafnode', but the newsreader I'm using ("Free Agent")
has a setting "Server creates messages out of order" and having this
checked ensures that all new messages, regardless of order, are
downloaded.
