When we try to install D7 on new installed WinXP machines everything
works fine, as long as we work with the same user that installed the
software.
With other users (local profile) we could work it out (copying the
.borland folder into default profile).
There are many users with roaming profiles. How to give them the
necessary files (.borland) with the registration informations? I
don't want to copy this folder manually to all the user profiles.

Delphi does not currently support roaming profiles. The typical Delphi
license is a single user license not a single machine license which is
likely why you are prompted to register for each user profile.

OK - I understand. But is this not "old" and should be changed in
actual versions?
|
Maybe so. I haven't looked into what Delphi 8 will or will not support
with regard to registration yet but it is possible some changes will occur.
