I've answered your question in the posting on Terminating a
connection of 8/8/2003. Why haven't you reply to it yet?

If you need answers straight away you should get a support contact from
borland (see http://www.borland.co.za/support/) instead of trying to push
someone on a free, volunter based news group to give an answer in a hurry.

No problem on the free voluntary news group, but don't you think that if
someone comment on a posting for more infomation 4 hours after the original
posting that he is willing to help you in a hurry. And if it is not the
case, why bother responding to the posting in the first place? I mean, if I
reply on someone elses posting asking for more info, I intend to answer it
when I get my info, but maybe its just me.

Indeed, I would have been willing to help you in a hurry if I'd known
the answer to your question. And I might have known the answer, if you
had been using a different DB server or connection method. But since
you didn't mention enough information in your question to allow anyone
to answer it without requesting more information first, the only
possible reply was to ask for more information. After you provided
that, it became clear that I could not answer your question and someone
else would have to.

If you'd prefer that I never reply to your messages I'd be more than
happy to oblige. In short, if you ask a vague question and don't get a
useful reply, you have only yourself to blame.

Even if you don't know the answer? How helpful. Makes me wonder why
you bothered to post your question at all, since you can answer
anything!

That presumes we have nothing better to do than to constantly check the
newsgroups for your postings. Everyone answering here does so voluntarily
and everyone has other work to do - so we check the groups *when it's
convenient for us*.
