What about MS Access? Can we connect using the same Ado components?

No. Access is a local database it doesn't has a server in which you can
connect it only has an enginee similar (in idea) with paradox or dbase
in order to open a file in a remote machine you need a way to map the
remote drive which has the mdb file to a local drive letter and as far
as I know there isn't any web host which gives you a drive to map to.

Yannis.
