Since I reported the bug in QC update packs for D6 and D7 have been released. I know that the bug was not fixed in the D6 pack so I guess the "hope that they are fixed in the next version of Delphi" part needs work. I am not aware of any bug-reporting scheme used by Borland. It basically involves making a complete copy of TAutoIntfObject in your own module, changing the name and adding the line FDispIID := DispIntf; to the constructor. It has to be done this way because FDispIID is declared as private and the property is read only. Without such, I feel like the system is detached from Borland. With such feedback, even if Borland was not going to fix the bug either because they felt a sufficient workaround existed or that it was not really a bug, at least I would know.
