I don't think tlibimp.exe ever had a ghost method switch. Make sure you have all patches applied. It sounds like you are familiar with the issue: some type libraries (I think VB-generated ones but not all VB-generated ones), have gaps in the vtable that had to be accounted for. In some cases, false gaps were detected.
