I would first double-check that you are providing a legal directory/name
for where the JAR should be built.

If that is OK, then run JBuilder.exe from a console window and look for
any output that shows exceptions being thrown during the build.

Hi folks,

This is a copy and paste from the bes.appserver.jbuilder newsgroup -
no
response there and we're in dire need of advice.

We're currently encountering a very strange problem on a brand new
installation of JBuilder 7. We have a number of projects we build (in
a
specific order) using the JBuilder - both IDE and command line. All
the
projects are
set up to create the JARs when they build (i.e. the little "Always
generate
archive" option is set in the project file).

However, when we build through either the IDE or the command line, all
the
files are building successfully (happy days), but it doesn't create
the JAR!
We have tried as many project settings as we can and as many
cross-machine
comparisons to try to get the bottom of the problem.

Has anyone encountered this before, or does anyone have any idea what
the
cause might be?

Many thanks...
