Hi.
What is yor setting of LOCAL SHARE in the BDE admin?
(Configuration/System/Init/LOCAL SHARE)
I've bee told that this setting should be TRUE, otherwise tables are likely
to became corrupted.
And it really seems to be so, I've not had these problems since the settings
were changed, for all users of cource.

In my experience pdox tablese are likely to became corrupted especially when
proram is terminated, and TTable components that are in edit state are
neither posted nor canceled.
(Which is propably just what you described.)
So, one should take care that all edits are eiher posted or canceled, when
closing windows etc.
But I don't know how to deal with quitting with CTRL+ALT+SUP (DEL?).

I run a aplication in a machine with Windows-98. Because of a some
cause, the aplication is closed with CTRL+ALT+SUP, then the tables are
corrupted y datas are losted. Why? The aplication runs without net. I
use BDE 5.01.

I'm enabled opportunistic locks: in the register of system i've delete
the following entries:

I am having the same problem with Delphi 7.

The problem does not always appear. It seems to happen
on certain systems (networks). I am using IB 7.5
as a database, if that is any help.

Hi,

I'm having trouble with all dbcombolookupboxes in my application. What is
happening, not on all records, is the lookup data does not show in the
combobox which obviously prevents the user from changing data or even
seeing
the current selection. I've tried different components, dbcombolookupbox,
rxdbcombolookupbox and others. Also tried populating it with code but the
same thing happens.

Has anyone experienced the same problem, if so, any solution or other
components that I could use???

Thanks
