Are you using IBX components? are you commiting or auto-commiting your
transactions?

We use interbase for some delphi-applications, mostly for our multi-tier
db-system. Here is the problem: our interbase-server-process grows and
grows
till the process has reached the 70-80MB border then the server hangs
up(if
i don't restart the server). Does anyone have an idea what can be wrong
with
our delphi-apps or the server-configuration? I haven't changed anything in
the server config-file, all default. I had this behavior also in interbase
version 6.0 and after update to 7.0, it's exactly the same.

Multi-posted. Answered in borland.public.interbase.general. By
multi-posting your question here you are asking folks in this newsgroup
to waste their time on a question which has already been answered.
This is rude, and it's against Borland's rules for the use of their
newsserver, which I will ask you to read:

In the future, please choose a single, appropriate newsgroup for your
question.
Thank you,
