"Public Beta"

Whaa!!! It's the armaggedon, hide! run!
Tremble in fear for the end is near!

Borland holding public betas... what is the world coming to?
Next they'll announce 64bits native compilers, resurrected BCB,
or that their employees can speak freely in their blogs?
One could complain such a public beta should have happened before
the release of the "update 1" (and probably saved them wasted QA money),
but it's another step in the right direction, so, way to go!

This is old news. If I recall correctly the first public beta for
Delphi fixes was Delphi 6- the variants patch.

Cheers,
Kevin.

When? Once every year?

Betas can help before releasing updates without QA testing.

To give you an opportunity to ask a question, of course.

Cool.
Now that the topic is exhausted, I can safely set followup to b.p.ot.
