I'm using Delphi 7 with SQL Server 2000.
I have to update a TMemo field held in a detail dataset and i wish to be
able to do it in a form where i update master dataset fields. I tried to do
it making up a lookup field in a tadodataset but components (TDBMemo,
TDBRichEdit) seem not to be able to update the field.
Is there something i could have missed?
I even tried to access the field in a new form and there (at least) i can
update the field, even if changes are not shown on master form if i make the
field visible. Is there a way to refresh the content of the lookup field
after the changes?

thanks
