|
|
I am using BCB 4.0 (I know it's really old) to build CGIs. What tools are
available to remotely debug my CGIs that run on a Windows 2000 server? (I'm
not talking .NET). I'm talking about plain old cgi applications (.exe's)
I would upgrade to any version, or buy most any tool that would give me the
ability step through my code on a line by line basis similar to normal
debugging on BCB.
I just do not know what is out there.

I don't know how CGI's are built and debugged, but anything you can debug
with the IDE can also be debugged remotely using the remote debugger. It
has been so long since I used BCB4 that I cannot remember if a remote
debugger was included or not, but BCB5 and BCB6 both include one (with the
Professional edition).
