So I've got an app that uses a ClientDataSet in a briefcase manner,
(local disk-based db). It has worked fine for years, and then last
night, I tried to run the app and POW! started getting "has encountered
an error and must close" messages. Further investigation reveals that
there is something very wrong with the CDS file, as I am unable to set
the cds to active in design mode, ("Operation not applicable"), nor am I
able to open it up in a CDSViewer application I wrote. When I look at
the cdsfile using notepad, I see that data in the last record is truncated.

Is there anything I can do to fix this file?

TIA
Brad
