Hi all,

when I start new project, in "specify project paths" window, what are
the difference between required library and class path?

They point to the same files, are they? Except class path also point to
additional jbuilder classes.

thanks
tony

Required libraries are the collection of "libraries" used by the
project. Each library is an alias for one or more jar- or zip-files.
These are put on the summarized classpath you refer to.

And cannot be edited.

To add an historical perspective, prior to JBuilder X,
the only way to divine the classpath which JBuilder
used when running your runtime configurations was
to look at the first line of the run in the Message
Pane. That line was long and difficult to read.

Someone came up with the good idea to add
the "Classpath" tab which shows the entire
classpath, one item per line -- a lot easier
to read.

Save time, search the archives:
http://www.borland.com/newsgroups/ngsearch.html

Is it in Joi Ellis's Faq-O-Matic?
http://www.visi.com/~gyles19/fom-serve/cache/1.html

Finally, please send responses to the newsgroup only.
That means, do not send email directly to me.
Thank you.

<g>Right-click anywhere in the Message pane, select
"Word wrap"?</g>

I believe that feature was added quite a few versions ago.
