I am using SQLAnywhere 8.0.2. build 4089. I have a stored procedure that
sometimes gives this error: "Sybase ODBC Driver Adaptive Server. Restricted
datatype attribute violation:cannot convert to a timestamp." This stored
proc is called from a Delphi 5 app. When a record is added to the
production table through the app, another table in another database is
updated by the stored proc. Several records can be added and then the error
will occur. If you wait awhile and re-enter the record that caused the
error, it will now be fine and the stored proc runs without the error. How
can the same data cause this error and then not? Any ideas? Thanks.
