D4P used

Running the following query with bde runs alright in a simple 1 shot dbgrid
app. test:
ALTER TABLE country ADD Ocean CHAR(20)

But when applied with a preceding Session Alias change (works good),
dbtables spits out:
Name not unique in this context
File or Directory does not exist.
File: <Alias path>resttemp.db
Table does not exist
Tables <Alias path>resttemp.db

From a previous post, the resttemp.db will be created in the directory where
the Session.Private Dir is established, but it isn't there either. It is
realized that resttemp.db has to be created so that the change can take
place, but it is really getting screwed up. Any help will certainly be
appreciated.
