Hi

I continually get an exception specifying rtl60.bpl at address something or
other.
Anyone get the same thing and is there a fix for this.
I installed the update 4 for C++Builder6

Thanks

Hi Stephen:

Yes, I too have been getting this error since applying the update pack 4 for
Builder 6 professional. I am also getting the following error immediately
upon closing C++ Builder:
The instruction at "0x0a957060" referenced memory at "0x0a957060". The
memory could not be "read".

I am very open to suggestions.

Stephen (and anyone else who cares to share):

I have discovered that I only seem to get the:
Application Error
Exception EAccessViolation in module rtl60.bpl at 0A955EE0
when I've had a project with dbExpress components active. This error
follows the other error I posted earlier (note: the addresses are identical
for both errors).
I do have the IBM Client Access/400 driver for dbExpress written by Peter
Sawatzki installed on my component palette. I will try removing it and see
if this error ceases.

Stephen:

I heard back from Peter Sawatzki (very quickly I might add ... too bad all
software suppliers aren't as quick responding to support issues) who offered
assurance that it cannot be related to his component as it is simply a
driver that is not installed in the IDE but is instead a dll.

I will try removing the dbExpress components from the IDE in an attempt to
isolate the error as it seems a logical starting point considering the
second (and third and fourth) errors only occur if a dbExpress component
(TSQLConnection) is at all applied to a form. I may be forced to do the
same for the rest of my components one by one to get to the root of the
problem, unless of course it is an error within the BCB IDE itself.
