Contact: [email]ctabor (AT) oneil (DOT) com[/email] Description: O'Neil & Associates developed the Electronic Maintenance System (EMS), used for Interactive Electronic Tech Manuals (IETMs) for Army and Marine Corps vehicles including; STRYKER, FMTV, MTVR, HMMWV, PLS, HET, HEMTT, M1A3 and others. The EMS diagnostic software interfaces with a variety of platform diagnostic data busses such as SAE J1708, J1939, J1850, MIL-M-1553 and DCA / ICE. The position requires expert C++ and or Delphi coding skills. Responsibilities: · Develop diagnostic software applications and interfaces in a software development team environment. · Maintain EMS2 diagnostic software. · Implement new diagnostic protocols based on TMC and SAE standards for Automotive and Heavy Duty vehicle applications. · Collaborate with other software developers. · Travel to vehicle location sites to include military installations. · Develop diagnostic embedded applications. Experience: Programming language: C, C++ and Delphi. Knowledge of communications/diagnostic protocol implementation (e.g., "talking to the buss") Expert experience and knowledge with the following standards and Interfaces: 1. SAE Standards: J1587, J1708, J1939, J2284 OBD II / III / IV & GM UART (J1850) 2. TMC RP1210A 3. MIL-STD 1553 4.
