What should I do regarding my SA's? I've got one for Delphi and one for
BCB. The BCB SA will expire in a month or so. If I allow my BCB SA to
expire, will I be covered for the BDS w/BCB under my Delphi SA, assuming
that I renew it when it expires in 9 months or so?

John, would you be kind enough to comment on this?

I don't think anyone can give you a 100% answer at this point.

However, we've seen a similar deal very recently. C#Builder SA is being
fulfilled
with Delphi 2005, since Delphi 2005 also contains C#Builder 2005.

I don't see why BCB in Delphi would be different. But then again, I
can't guarantee
that

Thanks for speaking out, anyway.

I wish I had a solid answer. For now, I would keep SA current on BCB.

When time creeps closer to renewal I would ask again, or even get product
management involved. At this point there's no for sure answer.

Thanks, Anders.

Yesterday I got a call from a Borland salesman regarding renewing by BCB
SA. He didn't know either, but he did know that if I renew, I have to
pay the new $1000 minimum SA price. I had hoped to be 'grandfathered' in
to the price I'd previously paid, but it looks like I won't be.

What are the chances of getting this outrageous (500%!) price increase
reversed for single license holders? As it is, SA makes no sense at all.

Thanks once again. I imagine this situation must be at least as
frustrating to you.
