We are looking for an experienced C++Builder developer for full-time, on-site, work in Apple Valley, CA. You will be working in a small office of eight employees writing software for the US Army Corp of Engineers and their civilian contractors. Our applications are quite large consisting of 300 to 700 CPP files, 100 to 150 database tables, and thousands of users world wide. You must be an expert in C++/VCL programming and in working with large projects. In addition you need to have good speaking skills in order to explain how various software modules work to our users.

Apple Valley is a small desert community just northeast of Victorville in Southern California. Apple Valley is situated at about 3,000 feet elevation, has lots of open space, and affordable home values compared to the rest of Southern California. We have blue skies almost year around and we are about an hour away from many local ski resorts and less than three hours from Las Vegas.

Required skills are:
C++
VCL
Good people skills (part of the job will be tech support)
SQL

Nice to have skills are:
Delphi
Oracle
Firebird
C#/ASP.NET
DOA Components
FIBPlus Components
InfoPower Components

Your time will be spent as follows:
C++ Development - 80%
Technical Support - 10%
SQL Development - 10%

Legal Stuff:
Salary starting at $85,000
Background investigation will be required.
No H1B sponsorship.
No relocation benefits.
