Hello all!

I'm studying Computer Networks and my teacher asked me to develop a working
prototype as final test...

We are free to choose the language we prefer and I choosed Delphi even if
Java was highly suggested... (Java's GUI development is just pain, if you
already tryed Delphi's one)...

Anyway, since I have to prove I can set up a network protocol using sockets
I was wondering myself if simple sockets components exists or not... My
teachefr would like me to learn to use sockets and not to configure already
existing components...

I'm speaking about a TServerSocket, TClientSocket, TDatagramSocket and a
TMulticastSocket... (my teacher want components the most possible similar to
the ones available in Java). I thought to write them from scratch, but it's
not so easy and it requires times anyway...

Does someone of you have some suggestions for me?
Thank you all in advance,
Stefano
