Looking at the forum about bugs in the new Intel Core Duo
at http://geek.com/news/geeknews/2006Jan/bch20060123034350.htm
I have concerns if there are any problems when doing single step debugging
with Builder?
There is also a post there saying that most Delphi programs compiled
with many versions of Delphi now don't work. This may be related
to the TDateTime format in Windows. Look on the page to read the post.

Can I be assured that I won't have any real issues running Builder on the
new Intel Duo Core machines?
