Hi there !
I have a problem which starts to drive me crazy. I have Delphi 7 Architect
version installed. I also got several third party components installed and
everything was OK. Since this morning whenever I try to compile (any even
new projects with no changes) a project I get the fatal error "Required
package 'SMImportD7' not found" - I have no idea which package that is
supposed to be. I searched my hard drive for it, started blank project and
can not get anywhere.
I am hoping that someone may have come across the same problem or has heard
where this SMImportD7 does belong too. I am really quite confused since even
in totally new projects the same problem occurs...
Also any idea how I can track to which component this package would belong
is very very welcomed...
Thanks and sorry to always come up with really stupid problems...
Bye for now
Nader

This is probably the SMImport VCL from http://www.scalabium.com/smi/ .

Thank you I will investigate down that route.
It seems that if I uncheck the "build run time" in Project Option I do not
get that error anymore, but I still would like to get rid of it as a whole.
Thanks again and bye for now

Well, it should be simple, just remove it from the runtime list and it
should be fine.
