Any such discussions must include at least one
question about whether or not Delphi is dead.

I want months of vacations!

Everyone wants (well, not exactly 9 months - I'm not a woman, you know).

I'll spend 2 weeks in Rome in September :-p
Only 1,5 months left! Can't want already...

Nothing new actually. Delphi 9 is projected to be released by the end of
this year and it's Win32 and NET. And there should be updates for both
environments.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but strong contenders for new features
are (at least) support for refactoring and dbGO.NET.

I have just come out from under a stone, is there anywhere I can view
some info on D9? At least suggestions ("rumors")?
Including release time.

Microsoft have just delayed launch of Windows Server 64-bit until
2005!!! So I guess it have to wait a bit!

The funny thing is that this kind of rumours are spread by Delphi people
making quite a good living of Delphi, perhaps they prepare themself an
excuse in case of failure? I've got the impression that in outside world
Delphi is still highly respected tool.
