I'm wondering if I should put my open source Delphi libraries on source
forge or not?

The downside that I see is not having full control over what gets added or
changed (but that is probably an incorrect assumption), but what are the
benefits?

You can still retain control of the project as the lead developer, and I
believe that you can approve or reject patches from others quite easily.

Just remember, SourceForge quickly turns into SourceForget. If you put
your project(s) there, just show up on a regular schedule and put "what's
new - nothing" every so often, to show the world your project hasn't been
forgotten.

Only if you allow other developers in the team. Well, the point of
SourceForge is collaborative work, but you can collaborate with just
yourself <g>

Committees of One (CoO) always work best, in my experience <vbg>
