Hi,
Can someone help me to solve this,
When I insert a record to a specific table, I want to get a event in my
application. at the moment my application is checking the tabel every 1 min.
is there any new record is inserted? if yes then DoSomething, I would like
to do with this event that SQL sends to my application if it is possible, on
SQL 2000 or 7.0,

SQL Server 7 and 2000 do not support events.

No - but it *is* possible to write an XP, which implements events.

I have been trying this for ages myself now Stig... can you point me in the
right direction... ie; how.
