If I don't have an active connection to a database, the
SQLConnection.ExecureDirect doesn't report any error, it only returns
zero.

I understand that the help is wrong, and the zero means that no record
was affected by the command, but I expected an exception if the
database is not available to receive the command.

Any comments?

Using D7 and D2006 with Firebird 1.5.3, Interbase driver and
fbclient.dll.

I suggest reporting this in QC.
