You might want to wait for BDS 2006 (should be available in January).
It ships with the Dinkumware STL.

Yes, I know, but I'm not planning to buy it. Borland support is ridiculous. On the BCB6 BOX there is written that (a wonderful thing) it contains the STLport. It is used by default and I think it is better than RW. The next version of STLPort (4.5.3 I think), which seems to be a beta version, is better than the one bundled with BCB6. After that release STLport supports several compilers but no more BCB6. It's easy to make money with free tools and libraries hoping that someone will support them...
No, it's not for me this way of thinking. No more.
Thank you, anyway, for your help. The reason why I didn't switched to another compiler before BCB6 was the great support and quality of Borland's newsgroups. But in the last years it seemed to me to be a minority to hope for a better compiler, better C++ support, less VCL, etc..
thank you,
Luigi

Officialy STLport 5.0 can not be compiled with Borland compilers. There
is however separate branch in CVS dedicated to this. Go to stlport
fourms to found out exact name of the branch and download it. It should
compile.
