Something has stolen my CTRL-R. CTRL-E generates CTRL-E and CTRL-T
generates CTRL-T, but CTRL-4 never makes into any application.
This is a pain in Delphi because there's no other way to record a macro.
I tried a PC Mag utility called HotKey Detective but it didn't detect
anything.
Any ideas on how to track this down?

Team Coherence does something like this this by default, it usurps
Ctrl+P for one of its shortcuts (even though it does not list this as
one of its shortcuts).
Check the Tools, Editor Options, Keyboard Mappings tab. The
Enhancement Modules list shows the keyboard mapping add-ins that you have.
If you have any Enhancement modules installed, try diabling them (the TC
one is called VCSKeyBoard).

Good idea, and I do have ICQ, but it's not running.

Thanks, but CTRL-R is a "no-op" in my entire Windows environment, not
just Delphi. It's really weird. For example, I tried mapping CTRL-R to
a function in TextPad, and it didn't function.
I downloaded HotKey Detective from PC Mag, but it shows no hotkeys.
I guess I should try booting into safe-mode and see what happens there...

Mysteriously, after several persistent weeks of this problem, it
disappeared today. Right after I reviewed the responses to the posting
here.
Apparently, mysterious bugs are scared of the Borland technical
community problem-resolution process, and immediately disappear upon
mere threat of being analyzed. <g>
If I see it again, I'll be looking for what is different and possibly
nail down the source.
