Most of these movies are in MPEG format, however some are in AVI format. What I am wanting to do is, create an application that will play these movies and allow my friend to connect to me to view it (along with sound), or vica versa to view his movies. I have searched Google high and low and all the examples in there are for streaming from a capture device (TV Card, WebCam etc) but this isnt what I want.
