A customer with run my application on a Acer LapTop with Windows XP reports
following error:

"Exception EPrivilege in module RxTools.dpl at 0002B006, Privileged
instruction"

What causes this error? What does it mean?

TIA,

Georg

Georg, I do not have a clue about what causes your problem,
but may I suggest that a better subject line, like maybe
Exception EPrivilege in module RxTools.dpl?
would attract people that do.
A little Googling might also do some good -- try searching
http://groups.google.com/groups?
for
"Exception EPrivilege in module RxTools.dpl"

RxTools is a rather touchy set of components and should be used under the
version of delphi which is initially issued for.

Try to post your message in third-party-tools newsgroup.
