hello all,
i am working w/ an older delphi codebase. currently most of the
existing software has been written in delphi 7 enterprise. we are
looking at versioning the codebase before a migration to delphi '05 and
the .net platform.
problem is i cannot find the teamsource download anywhere nor can i
find the software on the companion cds that came w/ delphi 7
enterprise. i have done lots of reading / searching today and nothing
has cropped up. i am inclined to go w/ subversion myself, but my boss
will not be interested in having a linux server just for that (i
know:<)
can someone please help get me pointed in the right direction?
also, as another general question regarding teamsource; is this
software deprecated by delphi2005? i would hate to get it working and
then find the choice pointless when i start working w/ delphi05.

no sooner did i post this message than i found my enterprise 7 cd has
team source already. i am proceeding with the installation. i would
still like to know about compatability w/ delphi 2005 if anyone has the
chance.

thanks, the wiki site is nice. i have been looking for some good
point of collaboration on delphi all day. glad to see something come
of it! |

That is great that you also find the other information on the Delphi
Wiki site useful.
But note that the real point of the earlier reply was to inform you
about the importance of using the Borland news server when posting to
Borland newsgroups. When using Google Groups or other Usenet news
server for posting only very few people will ever see your post.
