I installed the free version of Turbo Delphi Explorer. I then uninstalled it using "Add or Remove Programs" from the control panel in Windows XP Professional. I then installed Borland Developer Studio 2006 Professional edition. When I try to install components, I get the following error message:

This version is not licensed to load third-party components or IDE addins.

How do I fix this? Hopefully there is a way without reinstalling BDS 2006 again as this process takes a long time.

Thanks for you help,

I had a similar problem when installing Turbo Delphi Pro after
removing Turbo Delphi Explorer. The answer was to make sure you get
rid of all instances of the registration email you used for the
Explorer install. In my installation, there were two copies - one in
the home directory, and another one in the .borland sub directory.
The Remove program doesn't get rid of these files, and the new
Borland application seem to find it and install your software as the
Explorer version .
