|
|
I am trying to use TIdAntifreeze to keep my user interface from locking
up during use of TIdFTP commands, but it has not worked since I
upgraded to Delphi 2005 from Delphi 6.
I'm not doing anything fancy. I simply drop a TIdFTP object and a
TIdAntifreeze object onto the main form of a new project and change the
Host, Password and Username properties of the TIdFTP object to connect
to my site. When I call IDFtp1.Connect (in the OnClick event of a
TButton, the only control on the form), the UI locks up until it
finishes connecting.
I'm using Borland Developer Studio 9.0.1935.22056 Update 3 Enterprise
under WinXP build 2600, Service Pack 2, compiling to a Win32 exe.
I'm having similar problems with other Indy components, namely TIdSMTP.
It seems like TIdAntifreeze is not working at all.
Any help would be appreciated.
