|
|
Hi,
I'd like to create the same effect as Powerpoint's menu "slide
show/Action buttons". That is a series of sub menu items that are shown
as if they were buttons in a ToolWindow that can be dragged off the
menu to create a stay-on-top window.
Has anybody got a clue how to do this?
I think I can manage part of it:
I can create ownerdraw menu items and have them drawn so as to look
like the "docked toolwindow" on the menu.
What I don't know is how I can manage the menu dragging bit to create
the floating window. I don't seem to be able to find a message that
windows sends indicating that a menu is being dragged.
By the way, it is using Delphi 5 on Win NT4.0 so no fancy new Windows
XP messages to trap will do unfortunately.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers,
David.
