Hi guys,

I have a TMtsDataModule-based COM+/DataSnap DLL using ADO to talk to SQL
Server 2000.

This morning I changed its transaction model (in Component Services) to
'Required' so that transactions happened automatically.

Suddenly no updates occurred at all, not matter what I applied from my client!

A search in google yielded this thread:

http://groups.google.
com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&th=2184e5d63c86b08a&rnum=1

Which discusses the problem, but that thread was back in 2001!!! The source
code in D7 is no different!

Adjusting the source as Dan Miser suggested in that thread has fixed the
problem!

I could not find a reference to this in QC. Should I add a report? I figured
that if Borland knew about this one back in 2001 then it would have been fixed
by now (or am I mistaken - does Dan still work for Borland? Did he ever?)!!!

Cheers,
Matt Hamilton
