I just sandpapered the letters off my keyboard, in an effort to
improve my touch typing.

Results are promising so far. I still find myself peeking at the
keys, but since they are nicely blank, I blush and go back to grimly
staring at the screen.

In addition, this is a good excuse to play Tux Type 2.
"Why are you playing a game"
" Oh, it is a touch typing tutor and since my keys are blank, I
need to master this game before I can do any useful work" :-)

That has got to be the most committed effort to learn touch typing I
have ever heard. I might have to give that a try!

I can touch type, but I just get slack since I am faster if I peek.

I hope it wasn't an expensive keyboard! (Like the one a few threads up)

Just an old MS ergonomic keyboard.
I had been meaning to replace it anyway.

Wait until your mother tries to use your computer, and see how good an idea

If her ghost returns to use my keyboard, I would be
very alarmed.

Ok I am convinced now I have to erase the letters from my own keyboard.

I just want to check, it wasn't one of those smart new keyboards with the

Seeing that inspired me to attack my keyboard with sandpaper.
$80 US for a keyboard seemed a little excessive.
