This is strange. We have some queries that run over a datasnap app and up
until this week all has been well. The queries select a 2000 record or more
and the server then updates the database (Interbase 6.x) in the OnGetData
Event and then returns the dataset.

No matter how long they took (and some took a few minutes), the client
waited and then displayed the result.

However, we are now getting an operation timed out. The server does it stuff
still and updates the database to record the records selected - it is
actually doing this while we are getting the timed out message.

Any ideas? Has there been an update to windows that enforces time outs?

Thanks for any help.

Have you perhaps updated Internet Explorer on the client to version 7?
