Good Day,

About 3 weeks ago, I installed the entire BDS2006 Ent, and every bell and whistle that came with the pkg. Since that time, not ONE day has gone by where I did not experience troubles with the IDE:
- The IDE would run the project at the top of the project list, not the active project.
- If I try to open a file in one project, the project mgr will active and open another project with the same file
- Upd1 that ships with the BDS out of the box can NOT compile anything.
- The IntraWeb that ships does NOT work,
- etc etc etc.

Lastnight, I finally caved in, spen 3 hours un-installing and re-installing the BDS. This time, I selected only C++Builder. Then I tried to install the Update 2. It will NOT install. This morning at 0830, I started un-installing everything, again, and I have been "TRYING" to install the BDS ever since. So far, I have not been able to isntall the Update 2. As soon as I press the "Update" button, the program almost immediately goes to "Not Responding". Do I need to have Delphi isntalled to isntall the update? Please help!!!

Thank in advance,
Nick
