Hi. I have a application developed with Delphi 5 (3-tier) using BDE
accessing SQL Server 2000. I thinking convert this application to D7 /
dbExpress. I would like know if i can have any problem os performance
because this convertion. The dbExpress is more safe and stabled that BDE ?
Thanks

Actually, when DBX runs properly, it's usually faster than BDE.

Uh, sometimes. Depends on what RDBMS you're using.
Cheers,

Yes, dbExpress is more stable than the BDE, generally speaking. See
http://qc.borland.com for a list of known issues with dbExpress. Also,
DataSnap (MIDAS) in D7 is *much* more stable than in D5.
