|
|
I've been developing a desktop app in C#/.NET and I'm starting to think
it wasn't the best decision. The UI is comparably slower than a native
app, the binaries need to be obfuscated to prevent loss of IP, and the
heavy framework requirement has caused me some hurdles with potential
clients. I used C++ Builder a number of years ago and loved it, so I'm
thinking of moving my desktop development work to C++ builder again.
I currently have the standard edition of Delphi 4.0, C++ Builder 4.0,
and JBuilder 4.0. Can I purchase the upgrade version of BDS2006
professional or do I need to purchase the full version?
I can't find upgrade policy on Borland's website, so if someone knows
where I can get this information I would really appreciate it.
Thanks.
