I really don't want to have go through all the dialogs and reset all my
preferences and defaults all over again. It takes substantial time to
set up my environment. Please someone tell me that there is a way to
retain those settings when I install Jbuilder 2005

Yup, been there and done that since JB5 or 6. It's been a while of redoing |
my settings twice a year basically. :< I've done this a few too many times
(were on JBX now and I've done this on several machines :<), that I've taken
to not customizing JB anymore/very little. :<

I heard from someone with access to the beta that there is a new import |
function. I'm hoping he's right! Can anyone else confirm/deny this?
Thanks.

There is a wizard for importing your settings from JBuilder X in
JBuilder 2005.
