|
|
I produced a dll using Delphi 1 many years ago and I have
recently needed to modify it. While doing this I bevame aware of
a potential problem.
What I do is to have buttons in various parts of my main program
each of which call the dll and show the calendar from which a
date can be selected.
When this is done, the window is closed. I'm not sure whether
this leaves anything I should have deleted or if the same window
remains lurking in the background waiting to appear again next
time a button is clicked.
Also, when I close the window I don't want it to close the
parent window also.
I haven't actually had any problems except, recently, when
someone closed the parent window before selecting the date and
closing the calendar. In that case, everything locked.
Cheers,
David
