Is anyone aware of any problems using multiple report engines in a Delphi
application? We've used Rave for years, but now I'm investigating using
ReportBuilder because of the RAP language and end user report creation
capabilities. Until everything is converted over, I'd need to include both
engines in my app. Anybody aware of any issues?

Thanks

Hello Dave,

Anything in particular that you need to do with RAVE. RAVE has a
scripting language and the designer can also be used by the end user.

Not really. I've used Rave for years and I'm happy with it, but so far, all
reports have been developed by me and provided for the users to use. In
talking to end users at work, they seem to think that a banded report
generator would be easier for them to use for creating end user reports
thenselves. I'm not wild about having to switch everything over, but we
need to move towards a more open system.

Dave
