|

Anyone know of a component that will read/write the VCARD format? I am
looking for a component that also supports the binary objects.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,

I found the component before I posted message - doesn't support binary
objects!

But, since you get the source code for free. It is a good starting point,
and you simply need to do the research to implement the support for the
binary objects. Because, at the moment, it seems to be the only one around
that is a VCL, the others are either ActiveX, COM or .Net, and not free.

I don't care if it is FREE if it is priced reasonable.
I would implement it myself but I am being pulled in multiple directions now
+ I am down to only 7.5 months of riding time left in Texass <BG>!

Well, I don't know why I didn't look at the components that I already had
installed. Because, I found that I had a component for vCard. And, it's
with Indy. I currently have Indy 10 installed, so I don't know if it's part
of Indy 9. The name of the component is TidVCard. And, it supports the
following binary properties: photo, sound, logo and key.

Thank you very much - I didn't realize Indy 9/10 had it either!
