In D2007 Ent. trial version the online help doesn't contain Intraweb (VCL
for Web) help. At least by pressing Ctrl+F1/F1 while selecting IW components
I couldn't get any related help. Maybe there is something wrong with my
installation but it seems IW is totally excluded from D2007 help. |

No surprise here, Intraweb is a great product unfortunately it has very poor
documentation.
If you need ask something or are stuck in a particular problem with Intraweb
you can always post
your questions here or atozed newsgroup. Fortunately for us, the support
groups are great.
As for the documentation I think you can get it from www.atozed.com but as
I've said
the documentation is poor.

YUP! Its on purpose.....to sell their product and support! Unfortunately,
It doesn't work. My company has been aware of inntraweb since its beginning,
however, it refuses to purchase their product and support because of this.
We still use the bundled stuff in the Delphi Enterprise versions.

So you refuse to buy support because support isn't provided for free?
BTW, there are manuals and help documents available for download even if
you don't purchase the product from Atozed. And the help is posted to
the web IIRC as well. |

Hi Jason,
Sorry, I may have misspoke....
No, we refuse to purchase from Atozed because they keep racking out
versions and don't work on their documentation.
Instead, they expect that you purchase a full blown registered version with
support and then receive any information (know-how) from the registered
users sites, news groups, support dept, or anything else they have on the
registered users site.
We will continue to use just the version that comes bundled with Delphi
(Like we just did for Delphi 2007) and work on learning to use the product
from info gathered from free newsgroups and forums.

Your kidding me right? Maybe because you are not a novice with Intraweb -
you feel that their documentation is good to go. But as a beginner and
novice with intraweb, we feel different. We find the documentation
worthless.
Dont get me wrong, we like Intraweb, and we think its far above any other
products on the market, we just arn't ready to pan out the annual fee for a
registered version with support for something they dont keep the
documentation up on.
When we purchase our Delphi upgrades, we get a registered Intraweb version
with out the support. We feel this is the same as having a registered
version from Atozed with support (Cause the documentation aint there
anyway).
Thanks

Anybody happen to figure out how to integrate the help yet? I called
CodeGear support yesterday but was unable to talk to anybody. They said
someone would call me back but they never did. Hoping to hear from them
today.

I'd like to see that help integrated too.
