Wondering if there's a component out there that allows one to issue TCanvas-like drawing commands, which are then converted to a PDF-file. A bit like the TPrinter.Canvas, but for PDF? Many thanks. How about another one! eDocEngine does this and more. eDocEngine gives you a real TCanvas object which you can draw on to using the TCanvas methods and Windows GDI commands (by passing the canvas Handle to GDI calls). You can place additional elements on the PDF page/document, such as form fields, annotations, bookmarks and more. Yes, the ReportExport edition does support all the drawing to canvas and saving to PDF features. Only, it won't do the forms and advanced functions (tables, paragraphs...), which are not directly part of TCanvas. In short, if it is supported by TCanvas/GDI functions, ReportExport can do it.
